Halcyon Times of Youth

Presently, I am sitting at the coffee bar, Halcyon. It’s a great place to grab a drink (non-alcoholic or alcoholic) and some dessert while still being in a bar-esque scene downtown. It’s a place to really chill and hang out, even to study. People are here to either socialize and have a good time with friends or sitting down at the tables with a laptop and a book to take care of some work. I love this place for its versatility.

And I no longer have the slightest desire to be out and about in the crazier, wilder downtown scene. Perhaps I’m growing old, which is ironically contrary to the title of this post.

I am one of those who decided to bring my laptop to do some “work,” which really just means blogging and reading other blogs. And occasionally logging onto Facebook.
