Coffee in the Sunny Outdoors: Austin Java and Flipnotics

Me, last night, to my friends: “Are we really going to do brunch?!”

And yes, we did do brunch, at the Austin Java on Parkway. My two friends and I all ordered omelettes. One ordered “The Greek” omelette (eggs, spinach, Feta, black olives, Roma tomatoes), another ordered the “Baked Potato” omelette (taters, bacon, green onions, sour cream & cheese), and I ordered the “Hippie Hollow” omelette (eggs, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, red bell peppers). And of course, we couldn’t do without ordering their deliciously brewed coffee either.

The “Hippie Hollow” omelette – eggs, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, and red bell peppers. Plus a fruit cup for the side.

While we were sitting outside enjoying our lovely eggs, we gushed about how beautiful it was outside. Thus, two of us ended up going to Barton Springs with another friend.

After Barton Springs, we randomly found a whimsical little coffee shop called Flipnotics nearby. Oh, it was so cute! Especially the outdoor patio on such a beautiful day as today:

This is why I love the city of Austin. And coffee.
